A/C Cooling Checklist:

  • Inspect unit for proper refrigerant level
  • Clean dirt, leaves & debris from condenser coils
  • Inspect drains & drain pans, clean as necessary
  • Inspect evaporator for signs of leaks & cleanliness
  • Inspect fan motors & fan blades, lubricate as needed
  • Inspect control box, associated controls, wiring & connections – tighten connections if needed
  • Check capacitors for proper capacity
  • Inspect compressor & associated refrigerant piping
  • Check amp draws on motors & compressor to ensure proper performance
  • Check Ohm compressor for wind damage & to predict future failure
  • Replace air filter

Furnace Heating Checklist:

  • Inspect & clean blower assembly to ensure proper air flow
  • Lubricate blower motors as necessary
  • Inspect for gas leaks in & around furnace
  • Inspect & clean burner assembly
  • Check & adjust gas pressure
  • Inspect ignition system & safety controls & clean
  • Inspect heat exchangers
  • Inspect flue system – check for proper connections & signs of corrosion
  • Inspect control box, wiring & connections
  • Clean or replace air filter
